Currently, Lola is not taking commissions.

Do you have any originals for sale right now?
All original paintings currently for sale can be found under the ‘Available Work’ tab in ‘Originals’.

Why are there no original paintings for sale?
If there are none for sale it means they have all sold, but there are always new works in the pipeline. Sign up to the mailing list to be notified when new works are available and follow loladonoghue on instagram to see her latest collection in progress.

Where can I see your latest work? Do you do studio visits?
Follow @loladonoghue on Instagram to see her latest works in progress. Currently we can’t facilitate studio visits but we hope to in the future.

I missed out on your last collection of originals, how do I find out when your next collection goes on sale?
The best way to hear about any upcoming work is to sign up to the mailing list and you will receive an email before any new art goes on sale.

What medium do you use?
Lola uses mainly oil on canvas.

I’ve bought my painting, will it come ready to hang?
Original paintings up to 40 x 40” come stretched, wired and ready to hang. Larger pieces are shipped rolled in a tube and need to be brought to a framer for re-stretching.

Prints

What type of prints do you create?
We print Archival Pigment prints, on either paper or canvas. The prints currently available in our shop are Limited Edition, different prints have different edition sizes.

Do you make prints of all your original paintings?
No, only certain paintings from each collection are reproduced as a print.

What is the difference between a paper print and a canvas print?
The paper prints are printed on cotton rag paper and come with a white inch border. Paper prints need to be framed behind glass to protect against UV damage, moisture and dust. Canvas prints are printed on canvas and come with a minimum two inch border to allow for stretching. Canvas prints have a varnish applied to protect against UV damage, moisture and dust.

Do the prints come framed?
No, all prints both paper and canvas are shipped rolled in a tube and would need to be taken to your local framers. Canvas prints need to be stretched. Once stretched, they are ready to hang, a simple box frame or floating frame can be added, that’s down to personal taste. Paper prints should be framed behind glass - with or without a mount ( we like a 4 or 5 inch mount).

Do you sign your prints?
Yes, all prints are hand-signed by the artist. Paper prints are signed, titled and numbered on the front, in the white inch border. Canvas prints are signed, titled and numbered on the back.

If I order a print on canvas does that mean it’s an original painting?
No, if you order a print on canvas it is just that - a limited edition print, a reproduction of an original painting.

I love this print, it’s rectangular in shape - can you make it square?
No, we don’t crop any of our prints. We can accommodate custom sizing as long as it doesn’t compromise the image.

Is there added texture on the prints?
There is no added texture on the prints, all prints have a flat, matte finish.
